“This graph illustrates tweet volume for specific terms mentioned during the course of last week’s presidential debate. For example, how many updates per minute contained the word “Iran.” Of the terms in this graph, the most twittered word in a one minute time span was “Iraq” at nearly 300 just after McCain’s assertion that Obama did not visit the area for 900 days. We’ve annotated a few of the spikes with what the candidates were saying at the time.”
I tuned in via Current.tv’s Hack the Debate. I thought it was a very cool Web2.0 way to watch. I showed my parents how to tune in via Current, but they weren’t interested. My dad knew what I was talking about when I said ‘Twitter,’ but I had to explain microblogging to my mother.
I saw some tweets that Al Gore would join Twitter - he apparently told a bunch of bloggers at Current that he’d log in the day after the debate. Has anyone see him?
Did you tune in to Hack the Debate? What did you think?

This is cool. Would love to follow Gore on Twitter – let me know if you find him.
I’m impressed that your Dad knows about Twitter! Maybe you can get him to use it? Then again, might be TMI.
Although I haven’t seen Gore on Twitter yet, I am following an ‘Albert Gore News’ handle.
You’re right – Dad on Twitter would be TMI, but I am encouraging my mother to join Facebook. I think she’d like uploading photos.
